Due to a generous grant, we are able to offer Kinder Readiness free of charge for four weeks at Great Hearts Arlington this summer 2026!

Kinder Readiness is designed to help incoming kindergarten students build confidence and feel prepared to start school in the fall. Scholars will be introduced to the Great Hearts curriculum, the academy teachers, and make new friends. They will practice fundamental skills needed in kindergarten, classroom routines, the academy virtues, and learn teacher expectations through a unique curriculum each week. Kinder Readiness will also introduce scholars to skills such as number sense, letter names, letter sounds, letter formation, and print awareness.

Whether you choose to register for one week, or all four, you will see your child's confidence and excitement for kindergarten grow with each week of Kinder Readiness!

Note: Students will wear the Great Hearts school uniform as outlined in the family handbook and bring a backpack and snack.

Program Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:15 PM (Drop off begins at 7:45 AM)

Space is limited and fills quickly!
